I am a believer. When I began the "It's Easy Eating!" weight loss program, I had some doubts. But I soon learned that the program is, indeed, relatively easy and does produce results. I changed the foods I had been eating, exercised some more, and met my weight goal after seven weeks. To my surprise, I did not feel hungry if I kept to the recommended schedule of foods and meals and snacks. Of course, an essential ingredient in the program is a degree of determination to change my eating habits and life style. This program will make me healthier, stronger, and lighter for the rest of my life.

“In twelve weeks I've lost 30 lbs., lowered my blood glucose level from between 360 and 420 to normal levels of 60 to 100. My cholesterol levels can’t be measured meaningfully for about 6 more months but indications are they will be in “healthy” levels. My blood sugar hemoglobin level –A1C—is lower already though it will take a few months to see the real impact of this program as well. My blood pressure is down from 165/90 to 130/75 –still some work to do there--and my resting pulse is down from 92 to 71. I have not had difficulties with my allergies this year and did not get a pulmonary infection in March as I have for the previous 6 years. I am healthier, more productive, have more energy and I’m happier! I’m about to save Blue Cross and Blue Shield over $600 a month when my A1C and cholesterol numbers come in lower and I can back off my meds!”

As a “graduate” of the “It’s Easy Eating!” program, I wanted to share with you some of my post-program thoughts. I say “graduate” because I did manage to reach my weight goal over the program period. I know, however, that in order to keep the weight off, I’ll never completely graduate, but will need to remain vigilant.
I told Judi early on that the program wasn’t “easy” and it wasn’t. I needed to get used to the daily discipline of five balanced meals. I wasn’t often hungry, but I didn’t always want as much fruit as the plan called for or a vegetable at 4 in the afternoon. I wasn’t enchanted at first with any of the starches. But I believe Judi put together a plan whereby the different elements of each meal complement each other and together promote weight loss without sacrificing overall health and muscle loss. Once I understood and accepted that, I was able to progress. It has always been very difficult for me to lose weight. But this worked even with my occasional kicking and screaming.
Good job, Judi. I’m glad I gave it a try.

I just have to tell you how happy I am with your program, "It’s Easy Eating!" I’m into my 9th week of the program, and so far, I’ve lost 14 pounds and 5 inches! When I first started I thought I’d never get through eating like this. I mean, how could I go without bread, muffins, pasta, all the carbs I love – not to mention wine? But, a couple of weeks into it, and I was actually enjoying the foods I was eating and, lo and behold, about 6 weeks into it – it was a habit. Who knew? Another challenge I found – with my hectic, on the go, schedule – was how to pack all that food into a day when I’m on the run. You know, it’s so easy when you’re running around, to grab something on the go from a deli, etc. Part of my new habit became packing my little cooler every morning with nutritious foods to take with me every day. I’ve tried every diet out there and knew another diet wouldn’t work for me, so I decided to try your program, and I’m so glad I did. This isn’t a diet, it’s a change in eating habits – one I’ve never been able to make before. And, it’s so simple. You deserve some kind of award for creating this program. Oh - - and the coaching component of it - - invaluable! The support has been outstanding, and you cheering me on whenever I see you in the gym is so encouraging.
Just wanted to say thanks!

Even more helpful has been your role in suggesting a healthy diet, which has completely changed much of what I eat and with which, along with my wife's help and good-humored enforcement, has resulted in my losing twenty-five pounds, which I have been so far able to maintain as my new optimal weight. Everyone says I look better, and I feel better, too. Thanks!
